nochrur
hi there (sorry, my english is not good) try to reduce the irradiance map min and max rate to something equal. ex : min rate -3 and max rate -3 this will allow you to have only 1 prepass... nbasir
and for preview purpose 1. dont use AA ( use fixed 2. render size 320 X 240 3. try to use vray materials for reflaction and refraction ( instead of standard raytrace refraction and reflaction) 4. for secondary bounce try to use global photon maps and its corresponding settings. 5. for vray lights try reducing subdiv settings for test render Goodluck

JHalton
Light Cache is the quickest way to preview. The shadows are not generated as well as a normal render. Under Indirect Illumination tab: Change Primary bounces GI Engine to Light Cache Change Secondary bounces GI Engine to Light Cache Remember what you had before. : )
