doujay888
I'm getting this error message from vray each time I render. First I thought it was due to the lighting values but I've tried to changed the lighting values several time and still same error is appearing. Can any1 please help me on this. I have a deadline by today. GMT 1400. Thanks in advance.
JamesTaylor
At times these errors are quite common. if you test render it and it looks ok then it's ok - just ignore the errors. i guess they are flashing up as all your multipliers - max environment override and primary bounces - seem high in the rendering panel. buit if it looks right go with it
stylez
i agree with jat10005, these errors sometimes pop up but still render fine... although you do have quite a bit of errors there, and i think it is because of your max environment overide... try setting it back to 1 and see if you still get the errors. another possibility could be your actual materials... are you using vray materials? or standard materials? or architectual materials? vray mats and standard mats should be fine, but if you are using architectual mats, they may cause errors with vray good luck cheers
jstar730
before when i was new at vray, i didn't know how to use vraymaterials especially when it came to reflections. raytrace, i think is the no. 1 culprit of the warning message: material returned overbright, though there were times i just ignored them and still had a fairly decent render. if you have raytrace for your reflections i suggest you convert them to vraymaterials. ever since i used vraymats very seldom do i get those warnings. doujay888
I used vray materials only nothing else. alll my lightings i used vray shadows. What i noticed was I removed one tranluscent material and faked the translucent vray material to standard the pop error message were cleared. Anyway thanks for the advice. I bought some time from the client and the just check the result on the attached image c&c are welcome. Thanks Guys!
