Interior Scene

Hello everybody,

This rendering was part of a quick preliminary design proposal, so nothing elaborate. As I was running out of time, for this particular view I turned off all artificial lights (something which will not happen in real life, of course) so the scene was rendered using only daylight coming through rooflights. Also, I used a wide angle camera, too wide since part of the clipping plane is visible.

The image is the actual unedited rendering (no post-processing).

Apart from the actual design and the TV picture :) I welcome any comments. I know it's not a fabulous rendering by CGarchitect standards, and the background is way too dark, but I would like to know if I'm on the right track?

Thanks,

Adrian

i love your glass block (oh, maybe it's some sort of stone like kreten said?) . and i'm IN LOVE with your ceiling. sounds like you know some of the things that need fixn. not sure what the railing on top of the curved block wall is maid of, but it looks a bit tiled. good job hope to see the finished product.

It was supposed to be glass block. however, it can change.

Here is another detail shot of the ceiling, with an inverted bulkhead and artifical lighting; it took me some time to stitch the curved edge. I personally like this kind of clinical minimalist look. Of course, there will be all kinds of framed things hanging on that wall which I think will clutter the scene.

It would be nice to have more time to refine the renderings, to edit the images after...

I'm working on another project where I can refine the renderings more, hope to publish something soon.
