Bugga_Guy
For 4 hours it is quite good.... but then again it kind of look like it was done in 4 hours. Overall its very flat, and your renderings are in the place I like to call the "neutral zone" too unfinished to be realistic, too much detail to be a block model. you have to many mixed elements - ie blocked palm trees/cars standard lighting. But you have colours, bumped water etc. If I were you, I would replace the blocked trees with more realistic trees (even opacity maps would look better), and same goes with the cars. Also some GI would improve it alot - or at least some fakeosity. Avoid copying elements in the scene (ie shrubs, trees) if you must, at least change the sizes, place different textures. Also you have squishy people - The thing about people is if they don't look proportioned correctly - DONT PUT THEM IN! The result can be very damaging. So either fix with width of the coupple or take them out.
