radiosity and standard lights

I am rendering an outdoor terrace scene with planters and furniture. The furniture in the scene is slowing me down considerably. Is it possible to exlude the furniture from the radiosity solution and have a standard omni light just for the furniture?

you might want to try excluding the furniture from the mesh subdivision, that should make your rendering faster

Make sure you exclude the omnilight from the rad solution too.
