mbr
How do you get rid of mullion flickers with scanline animations? Suggestions for AA settings? Everything else is rock solid, but those damn mullions flicker like mad! Thanks.
Tiny Piney
It could be because of the raytrace AA. If the glass is reflecting the mullion it will cause it to flicker. In the raytrace settings turn on the AA this doubles the render time but should solve it.
mbr
Ok, so the RT AA settings, not the regular AA settings? It's set to (checked) Fast Adaptive Antialiaser Should I change that or change it's settings? Thanks
Tiny Piney
That usally works for me. Cheers
mbr
It was on for the rendering. Anyone know if I should (and how) change the AA settings, either in the RT panel or the regular AA panel?
Tiny Piney
does anything else flicker? is it just the mullions? double check to see if the there are two overlapping faces. or try excluding the mullions from the raytrace.
