aflack
I've just got my first private job on a residential/commercial building. I have modelled the building and most of the surrounding building no problem. The client wants to building to appear out of the ground over say 600 frames, I messed around with the slice modifier and found that it worked, it didn't cap the slice but I have hardly charged any money for this so I can't afford to fork out any money on a modifier to do this. I want to use vray because I am pretty comfortable with it but as the walls appear out of the ground everything inside the walls gets darker which is as you would expect, then in one frame the next floor plate appears and it appears very white which it should do. Does anybody have any expierence of doing this kind of job? Is it better just to use standard lighting for this kind of thing. Any tips on how I can achieve vray like results with standard lighting but without the mass colour change? I have attached a couple of stills to show what I mean. Thanks for your time and help. pablo scapi
Is there a way I can make an object in the scene recieve vray light but not reflect it? Do you mean something like make an objet not to generate GI, it there in the Vray properties of each objet. I think it look pretty good, just play a litle with the lighting so it doesn´t burns so much, BTW remember that you can animate the color correction, as a normal cam would do automatically if it enters a dark room or the inverse.
