sgill
Hello all These are a couple models I have been working on in Maya. I invite everyone to provide me with some feedback. I'm still fairly new to this industry so don't be to harsh. Also is the quality of my work on par with the industries standards? Thanks in advance

sgill
Thanks for your input DAN212222 In the first two images i just cut and pasted my rendered image into picture i took with my dig. camera. The second two images i used a combination of paint effects and mapping jpegs to planes.

Tim Saunders
i agree, that was a huge improvements. the materials still look a bit too stark though. like the black trim for instance. it is way too black. if you add some specular highlights and tone down how black it is it would improve a lot. black materials on a building aren't even close to being that dark and black. good progress though. Aaron2004
Looking like A+ work. If I had to crit anything, I would say that you need some type of texture for the house on the rightmost house, be in stucco or siding. It just looks like a CG house. A darn good CG house at that, though *EDIT* By the way, if you don't mind saying, where did you get your vegatation from. Did you create it yourself or did you purchase it from a business? Thanks!
