joseph alexander
Very new to Vray.. Working from the demo version.. I'm getting big blotches where my furniture and floor meet... is this a modeling issue our a settings issue? -Joe
pablo scapi
Try to tick the "check sample visibility" option in the ir map menu. The scene is also very dark, how ar you ligthing it? Try to post a wireframe where we can see the scene and lights. That leaks could also be due to bad modeling, is hard to tell.
DennisHolland
If you use a directional for a sun then check your shadows, it should say vrayshadow or shadowmap. Or the demo doesn't support vraylights and therefore using a maxlight + regular shadows? That is not working (well). Maybe check this: - Did you check the demo restrictions properly? It could be a scramble. - Those things also happen when you add objects after calculating your lightcache/irr. map. - Check outline and set normals to 0.00. - Change AA filter to Catmull-rom or Mitchell Netravalli. The rest of the settings are pretty ok.
a_rockyheart
use vray shadow instead. assign default scanline and reder, next, assign vray as current render to reset your IRRmap and Lightmap. if the problem still there, i think u have to reassign all reflect/refract materials in UR scene. Have fun!
