ACAD 2006, problems with 3D.

Hello:

 

I´m having problems in the first model i´m doing with this version of ACAD.

 

First thing, the face offset in a solid doesn´t work, it says something like there are several solutions for a vertex, but that hapens even tring to offset a face from a simple box, i use this comand alot and now i´m F****D.

 

Then the shaded mode looks crapy, missing triangles, distorted, etc. I tried changing video setings but nothing good.

 

¿Anyone is having theese kind of problems?

I have real issues with the shading. The only setting that seems of any use in 3D is hidden.

 

Not really causing any problems but it's annoying.

in terms of shading, you can't go wrong with the gouraud shader (w/edges). I had nightmares with the hidden lines shader with even marginally complicated 3D models...the screen redraw made it virtually unworkable.
