chow choppe
Hi people i am confused about how to match my background music with my video in AFTER EFFECTS first of all please tell me that whats the right way to synchronize the sound to the video... do we have to put the sound simultaneously with the video footage or we can make the video presentation first and then add a sound to it.. how can i switch my presentation from AE 2 Premiere because i find it easy to put sound there. Secondly how to do u do ur test renders to see that if audio is matching or not,,,,,(again in AE) i am completely lost about sound editing in AE. Is there any way to fade in and fade out (just like two adjoining vieo clips or stills) two adjoining audio files... Please help my deadline is tomorrow
Trick
There are 2 ways: Either you first find a piece of music you like for your presentation and make pieces of animation/video matching the beat, in other words you try to tell the story to the music. You can use Sound Keys from http://www.trapcode.com to make this process easier. The other way is to just make some pieces of animation which match the beat of your prefered music. For ambient music that mostly is around multiples of about 273 frames (based on 25fps PAL): so choosing 300 frames is a good bet. Afterwards you can search for an audio freak that makes a nice compostion, try to learn Reason (http://www.propellerheads.se), buy libraries that ease the composition process with precut music (http://www.smartsound.com) or look for buyout music (just search this forum).
