Devin Johnston
I'm using a compound material that is made up of cellular and noise procedurals and during my animation the material seems to vibrate a little bit. I’ve turned 2 sided on the material which has helped a little but still not enough to get rid of the vibration. Does anyone know of a way in Max 7 to get rid of this movement? Bugga_Guy
make sure that materials have not been accidentally been animated - also try increasing your supersampling.
Paulcalif
Bugga is right on with the second. The noise is too small, and looks fine rendered as a still, but appears animated when rendered in an animation--even though the material itself is not animated. Increase the size of the nois, or use supersampling as he sugested.
