Martinjc1
Hi All, This is my first ever atempt at rendering I have been practising and reading all the forums in the hope to learn. The interior is nothing special the aim is to acheive realistic results. C & C welcome
IC
Hi Martin I'm sure you know this already but it's way too dark. You have bright sunlight coming in and it's hardly illuminating the room at all. Modelling and texturing look good but it's hard to tell. Keep updating and posting.
Tim Saunders
dang good if it's your first try as you say. like iain said, light to dark contrast is huge. i'm into the dark look if thats the mood your going for, but if so you need to tne down the outside light. excelent textures! Atom
You;ve made the tiles look as realistic as i can tell, except that you could put some water streaks and marks around that would be cool.
Martinjc1
Hi all thanks for your replies. I have attached 2 more images of the same bathroom. The First image i have made brighter using photoshop, the second image i have added a ommi to the dark corner with a low multiplier. This has made the image brighter, however I think it looks unatural or unrealistic. Also the second image seams to be made up from large blocks, is this a lighting map problem. Thanks once again for you comments. I really aspire to acheive results similar to others I have seen in this and other forums, fantastic.
Tim Saunders
wierd. what software+renderer are you using?
Dave_UK
Looks like 3ds max and Vray. You need to adjust the render settings to get a better render quality also you don't need all that information at the bottom, you can remove some of the info in the 'system' tab in the render settings. Good for a first attempt. Try set omni light to 'ambient only' or use a vray light with low multiplier to brighter up the bathroom.
