Vray DR error

I'm using max 7 and Vray 1.47.03, I'm using 9 other computers to do distributed renderings on this one image. If I render it at 2500x1600 or under it renders fine. If I render at 3000 or 4000 pixels wide, I get what you see in the attached image. The dark boxes are what some of the other computers returned. It seems like a memory issue, but all of the 9 other computers are P4's with 1GB ram and my PC has 2GB ram. I've messed around with the bitmap pager and it didn't help. I've also tried with and without the Vray VFB. Right now I am rendering it without DR and it is coming out fine (but 9 times slower  ).

Any idea's?

I have simialr problems before using DR in that a number of buckets came out a different shade to the others. it turned out to that there was different versions of vray installed on a couple of machines, but since you've managed to render ok at lower res i'd be suprised if this was the cause in your case.

have you tried adjusting the size the buckets in the vray system rollout under the render diaglog box? may help?

The cloud texture is on every computer...actually that's the only part of the rendering that isn't messed up, all 9 computers calculated that correctly. It isn't until it gets down to the actual geometry that things start getting screwed up. I always use the resouce collector to get all of my imagemaps to the DR computers before I render.

I'm going to try different bucket sizes tonight and see what happens.

You are correct about the resource collector, but the DR computers did have that image on their hard drives. Otherwise there would have been black spots everywhere on the top half of the rendering.

Good thought though.

I have played with levels in Photoshop and you can see that buckets are all over the render except on sky becouse its not geometry.

I had same problems with it before. Just try to render without enviroment map and if its still uncorrect contact vlado at vray forum.
