fernando-1
I have my ADT model linked to Viz. When I export the model as 3DS file and re-import that 3DS model into a new Viz project (or to any other program for that matter) all the objects are misplaced in the imported Viz model. Why is that? Do I have to set any coordinates for export/import? This problem does not occur with any other Autocad objects only ADT such as Walls, Windows, Roofs, Etc. Thanks in advance
TRUSTYGUY
The problem maybe in units....check the units...in ADT your probably working in Meters or centimeters...etc. but the program your exporting to maybe adjusted in different units... abicalho
VIZ reads DWG files direcly. Why are you exporting as 3DS? Just read the DWG straight.
fernando-1
I check the units they are all the same in all progras (set to inches) I need to export the model with its materials/maps not only to Viz but also to other programs.
hosamzidan
i guess that 3D VIZ has its own file link manager and it can read ADT files directly without the need of exporting to 3Ds and stuff like that
