DennisHolland
It's always cool to see something else Mazen, nice setup. Can I give a suggestion? Get the 2D-maps (textures) of the magazines and apply a hue/saturation adjustment to it in PS. dark-ocra/brownish in this case, just for the finishing touch. Have 'm look like old and all wasted because of the sun for years. Dennis

Msamir
Hehe very nice Did you apply the hue/saturation directly to the image or did you create another layer and used layers mode (normal,dissolve..etc)?
DennisHolland
No, right on the layer, played with the sliders a bit and 'lifted' the hightlight on the right to match the incoming daylight in the scene. You'll see that it is a little too dark now but that will be fixed while rendering by itself. 2D textures are always brighten up a bit just as colours are always a few tones stronger in your render later... dbarc
I like the materials, especially the walls and bed. Wouldn't you expect to see more effect from the light coming in through the window though? Because it's such a dominant lightsource I'd expect some highlights on edges which would help to define the objects in the room - on the side of the bed, the frame and the furniture for instance. Chamfering the edge of the furniture would help to create highlights.
