only3d Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 ive asked about this subject before (and searched thru the forum history) but still no solution! meanwhile i worked with nurbs but i still want 2 understand- how do i refine the terrains edges?? i tried all of the compunds options ('stitch border' and so on) but nothing helps, so please help if u can.. ps- its nothing 2 do with the layered formation- i checked that as well ! as always tnx in advance! Brian Cassil Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 The terrain compound object pays no attention to the segments between vertices. If you want a more rounded border, try adding the "normalize spine" modifier to your splines to create more vertices before creating the terrain object. You will need to play around with the value in the normalize spline mod and probably add an editable spline mod just so you can see where the extra vertices are.
