fernando-1
I have my ADT model linked to Viz. When I export the model as 3DS file and re-import that 3DS model into a new Viz project (or to any other program for that matter, I also need to export materials and maps with it) all the objects are misplaced (scattered) in the imported Viz model. Why is that? Do I have to set any coordinates for export/import? This problem does not occur with any other Autocad objects only ADT such as Walls, Windows, Roofs, Etc. Thanks in advance
angelo
First of all, trying to export a model out of VIZ that is linked sounds pretty dangerous to me. It's linked, NOT imported, so can that even work?! Try importing the adt model, or binding the link. Then export. When objects get scattered, it usually means their too far away from 0,0. Moving the objects in the adt file might help. Good luck, Angelo
Michael-k
Why not export it to .dwg ? what version do you use ?
