frank1331
Using Viz 4 and Vray basic. I can't figure out why the tiled roof in the background will not render the same as the one in the foreground. Exact same material, map size, etc. Using a single direct light with vray shadows. I even tried making a copy of the one in the foreground. But as soon as I render it, this happens. Is it a falloff issue? I'm running out of time. ecastillor
BTW...R those palms RPC? if so..how do they cast shadows?
frank1331
Yes the palms are RPC. Shadow just falls along the same angle as the camera. I tried pulling some of the yellow with Pshop, and it looks ok for what I need it for. I was just wondering on what caused it. One other quick question. Is there a way to put some type of transparency gradient on the water? So it appears more transparent near the shore.
Tim Saunders
align the shadows with your sun, not the camera. it looks a bit wierd having the shadows of the building and the trees at all different angles.
