chow choppe
here is a question that has been troubling me for a long time now.... My toolbars are missing in ADt 2005 and 2005...have they changed it or they still exist as they used to be in ADT 3.0 following is a screenshot of what toolbars i am talking about.....as they used to be in ADT 3.0 I am talking about the toolbars on the left....Have they removed this feature form their latest versions Earlier i thought that i myt not have installed it properly but then i got ADT 2005 which comes in 3 cd's...1st cd has the setup and second and third Cd both have a folder named ADT with some files.....i copied the files from ADT folder in 2nd and 3rd cd to the ADt folder in 1st CD( because otherwise it doesn't install from the 1st cd).. same is the case with ADt 2006 It installs properly with this method but still i can'tfind my toolbars in 2005 or 2006..( ihavent tried 2004 yet)...These toolbars were really handy while working in ADT. Please help... what can be the problem
archkre
Toolbars & icons were replaced by "toolbar palette". Customizing that is not very simple, and in ADt 2006 all this changed thru a more 3dsmaxish... way with adt.cui files.
chow choppe
but that palette thing is really annoying.... does anyone know how can i customize that to look the way they used to be in ADt 3.0 ...... Why the hell they have removed it... it was such a good feature.

chow choppe
i am still not sure that they removed it ...because why will they remove a menu when rest of the menus are still there ... the thing is that they have changed the look of the dialog box which opens when we give a wall command or door command wherein we specify the dimensions....But the menus to execute the command should still be there. thanks
