Mental ray in maya

Hi guys,

 

Am a beginner, i hav been working in maya for last five months. Can any one of you help me in using mentalray? some tips and techniques will be very useful for me. I hav uploaded a sample work..tell me hw can i improve on that..

Have a lok over at CG Networks (http://www.cgnetworks.com) on the Maya threads there - there's a couple of threads on getting the best out of MR for arch. rendering under the Maya Rendering newsgroup.

Also, look for Max tutorials, as a lot of those can be applied to Maya with a bit of thought.
