Jason Matthews
Hey everyone. I just got the Viz 2006 demo a few days ago and I noticed that adding a uvw map modifier to an object does not allow you to scale using the gizmo. So I was curious as to how everyone scales their materials. SWo if you wouldn't mind sharing the steps you go though to get materials the way you want in terms of scaling, rotaiting and moving, that would be great. Thanks! Ray
I think by default 2006 'checks' the 'Real World Scale' box or something like that. It's located in the uvw map modifier panel. Just uncheck it and you should be able to scale normally. I think.

Manuel Joe
When you put the UVW map on, under the parameters there is a lenght, width and height setting that changes the scale.
abicalho
yup...thats really anoying by the way It's annoying because you're used to the old workflow. The new workflow puts the burden of the size where it really lives: in the texture, not in the object.
