vertexART
Hi guys, it may looks strange that I am posting a single project done with 3 different renderers, but since it's still a WIP, I am doing some comparison along the way. I am not that experienced in any of them, just want to learn everything I possibly can c&c welcome! living room (MR)

Brian Cassil
They all look pretty good. I would think it would be easier to do a comparison of renderers if you rendered the exact same scene though... just a thought.
DavidR
I think you should do the same scene, but don't tell us which is which, let us vote, then tell us how much faster the Vray one was, because that's the one we'll pick:). I couldn't resist -let the flame wars begin!

BTW your works are good man, keep posting...
lambros
vray looks good..... mr needs tweaking with the materials. radiosity would better be left behind. Overall modelling and texturing is very good!
vertexART
Hey guys, thanks for the kind words! I've moved to a new apt here, so I am still on dialup and don't visit this place that often (not that U care). While waiting for a client to revise those, I have some time to make a single scene rendered differently. Problem is that, besides changing the renderers, I have to change/adjust mats, lights as well, so it may take a while I will post as soon as I can. Thanks again, cheers
vertexART
VRay sphere light as sun and environment at 1.0, plus IES ceiling lights. Material override with VRay mat light grey. Irradiance at medium preset + LC at 100 samples solution Render times are great but I miss those soft shadows on the floor (barstools, table and chairs seem like floating a bit)
vertexART
here's a MR test I did today. render times are bigger (16mins) and will be even more when I try to remove the blotchiness from the image. suggestions?
