fernando-1
I created a series of horizontal splines in Autocad forming the contour of a ship, then moved them up as needed forming the hull skeleton if you will. When I import this file in Viz I want to ULoft surface these splines to form the surface of the ship hull. What is the best method to do this? I converted them to NURBS but when I uloft them I only can doi t in small segments at a time. Any sugestions? Thanks
Harjeet Singh
just a thought, if you have it done in acad, why could you check the rulesurf in acad? use surftab1 and surftab2 to set the desired mesh density. You may also wish to trry rulesurf surface option from nurb surface dialog in max/viz. importing native dwg would do best as far as the importing is concerned. thanks Harjeet
fernando-1
With rulesurf and edgesurf you can only select 2 or 4 splines to form the surface. I need to be able to select a number of splines to form the surface of the hull. Which you can do with Uloft in Viz.
