Ace_Face
How can I get a good translucent glass to render faster. I'm trying to achieve a sandblasted glass look, but the render times are through the roof. Here's a portion of my scene showing the effect I'm trying to achieve. I am also posting a screen shot of my material setting. I set the dispersion to 80 in the transparency settings to get the translucency, but this is the setting that is killing the render times. Any suggestions?

Ernest Burden III
Frosted glass is always slow, regardless of renderer. I don't use dispersion, I use a very small bump. Perhaps I'm just doing it the hard way, meaning it may not be faster. But that's something to try.
