martincg
hi akzit, what is your settings of render /color,normal,dist threshold etc/ which version of vray is it? post screenshot of viewport where is light settings too c: - somethings is wrong with your GI setting /IR map/ - dark splotches on ceiling - bleeding colors /wrong GI settings/ - colours are too much washed out - use camera corrector - for direct light use area shadows - floor is too simple : pattern, reflections /fresnel or fall off map in reflection slot/ - frame on top is too dark - use reflections on yellow wall material - round part of ceiling looks like have not enough polygons, too sharp but for first try it is not bad

jtiscareno
OK guys thanks for all the comments, sorry forgot to post settings. Here is a reworked image and the settings. Tim Saunders
much better. still a little blotchy. i couldn't see in your settings where the gi samples are. usually that will get rid of some of the spots. are the mullions in that skylight really black? they just seam REALLY black. even if ytheuy are stark black you should see some specular highlights. if its metal crank up the specular to 75 or more, and keep the diffuse real low (under 20).
