ecastillor
the scale on the secod image seems weird...the size of the chairs vs the size of the windows and doors are strange
skogskalle
thanks tommy! ecastillor - thanks! yup you are correct... that image isnt more than a lightstudy at the moment. The chairs are just placeholders (and their scale is way off....) Ill post an update later tonight.
darkblue_wire
Hi I would really like to tell you that the first image is very very nice the second one still need mapping & colours . both of them have a nice sense for architectural modling i am learning from these images Go on............... best regards
skogskalle
mohamed - thanks man! if there is anything specific you want to know - just ask! heres an update... most furniture (except for the table and chairs) is temporary. The client wanted a WIP-image for a meeting tomorrow... but its probably going to change alot in the next few days. btw... the quality on this one is total crap. GI settings are really low, and no AA etc.
hidr
I think that the ceiling should be brighter and I would expect some light reflections or highlights to the floor.
skogskalle
hidr - I think youre right. The cieling should be brighter. The material is allready almost 100% white, but the way the scene is lit it still shows as grey... I guess I could throw in a little omni light or something to fix that... heres a first testrender of the dining area... crappy settings, I know, but thats not important now... just trying to get a good camera angle and nice lighting at the moment. sunilarch
keep it up, imho the camera il little too high, i normally keep the cam at 150 cm frm floor lvl, which is our sitting ht(normally people percive rooms at that ht!)
skogskalle
thanks sunilarch! this is a really old thread... didnt think anyone would post here anymore... The project still isnt 100% finished, due to many client changes, but here are the latest testrenders. crits and comments are still welcome! best regards, Kalle
BrianKitts
Overall the images are looking really good, its just the tiny things that could be improved. Such as the floor is tiling, its almost covered up by the noise in the render but you still see it. In the second image, you might want to get the center pieces casting some shadows on the table it will ground them to the table better, right now they look like they are floating. Same goes for the high tables on the left side. Possible your interior lights aren't set to cast shadows? You have better shadow depth in the other two images. sunilarch
glad to see u r still working(improving). The 60cm x 60cm light fixtures dosent match the ceiling grids! i would have added human figures which will bring more life! Could u put some shading devices on the windows?(roller blinds.half closed) from an arch point of view if u add colours (corporate) to some surfaces(minimal) it will give a break(like the picture wall to be painted in peach colour) keep the fire on!! Tyorl
So your images are very good, but very grainy. If your using vray, and not PTT, try to check "Store with Ir map" in the Vray lights. And I think you should add some "chaos" in the picture for more natural view.
