hidr
I am using 3d-studio viz 4. This is a recent work I made. What do you think?
martincg
looks very good - post wire what is cg and what is real
Ricardo Eloy
Very good comp! The only thing that bothers me (and if that is part of the design, nevermind) is the font used in the logo. It looks like CG, maybe coz it reminds me of those fonts you use with MSWord or so... Besides, it looks off-centre.
hidr
The logo is the company's logo so I couldn't change it. There were two annoying things about this image (customer requests). The one is the sign (position and scale) as you mentioned and the other is a "glowing" glass at the top of the building. (curve shaped). Thank you for the replies. STRAT
nice work. a shame that scaffoled structure is there. i'd have personally cropped it out or pasted it out as it just isn't needed. [edit] looking at it again i got another crit - on the top level where the glazing meets the concrete end wall there should be some type of junction at this meeting point. as it stands it looks like the glass and concrete just join at the angle. how about making a wall thickness on the end of the glass plane to finish it off correctly? casa
do you mean the dove above the trees? No, I'm just kidding. Excellent work. Really. Congratulations casa
hidr
I am in the middle of something today but I will surely post the wireframe later today or tomorrow. The modeled building is the centered one. The one with the ugly sign. The around it buildings are photos.
lambros
Nice render Elias, where in Athens is the building exactly?

ipdesigner
*it looks like a real photo , great composition pal..i agree with strat, better you remove the scaffoldings (building-work-in-progress) on the right side.

Brian Cassil
Fanstastic! My only crit is that the white in the sign on top of the bldg looks a little too evenly white.
hidr
ok. If you like it so, I have to post the other view also I have made. I also welcome comments. (the vehicle at the front was customer's request). No need to post wireframe again, eh?
Brian Cassil
I have to ask... why would the client request that?
Ricardo Eloy
One tiny thing is giving the image is 3D: you cut the cables connected to your neighboors with your facade. They should either be totally erased or continued over your facade.
hidr
I have to ask... why would the client request that? Unreasonable request, he may wants his client to see that the building is still in progress. I don't know. Read my thread "Customers. What r we gonna do about them?" One tiny thing is giving the image is 3D: you cut the cables connected to your neighboors with your facade. They should either be totally erased or continued over your facade.? You are totally right. I didn't see that.
Guest nazcaLine
very-very-nice. damn, what a good camera matching. only one critique: that glass near the top logo isn´t very good, lacks reflection. if you can put a good reflection would be awesome.
