ajvbochove
I think: You have to reset your Controllers. Default controllers Transform Controller Position/ Rotation/ Scale Position “ Bezier Position Rotation “ TCB Rotation Scale “ Bezier Scale Make box and assign controllers. Don't forget to "make default" I had this problem once, I don't know alot of these controllers. I hope this works.

Astuti
As ajvbochove said, It's because of your "Position Controller". Create a box, go to the motion panel/Assign Controller, and make sure that, in Position Controller, you have "Position XYZ". If not, you'll have to "reasignate" it with the upper button. As you were said, don't forget to check "make default". Hope it helps Hope you understand my "english" Bye!
Woody
You could give this a try: In the main 3ds Max directory on your C drive you should have a file labled 3dsmax.ini cut and past this onto your desktop. When you reopen max it will create a new 3dsmax.ini file which should take max back to what it was like when you first installed it, unfortunatly you'll loose all the paths you've configered and viewport preferences, basically anything you've altered since you first installed max. Its a bit of a long winded fix but it should work, it it doesn't just delete the newly created ini and replace it with the one on your desktop. Mark.
