No application will run on this machine, only one shared database, a very large one (600 MB). Its a filemaker DB. Any suggestions?? bigcahunak Posted January 15, 2003 Share Posted January 15, 2003 If nothing runs on it then you dont need a strong machine. You need a stable machine. I have the same situation in our office. I ended up saving money, and built a P3 500mhz machine based on a BX board, SCSI card with SCSI HDD, backup tape and thats it. My network has 8 machines in it, though.
