jtiscareno
I have just started to use Sketchup and by the way it is a fun and great tool. I have downloaded the demo but five minutes into working it freezes completely, such that not evem ctrl+alt+delete works, have to unplug the computer. Any suggestions My machine is a dell dual xeon 3ghz and a gig of ram. Thanks
chuck
what video card are you running? i have issues at home with my ati... i'd say try to update your drivers then give it another go. you could turn off hardware acceleration temporarily to see if that helps too. chuck
jtiscareno
Chuck thanks for the quick response, the drivers you talk about I imagine is the video driver? And how do you trun off hardware acceleration Thanks
chuck
to turn off hardware acceleration, go to window, preferences, open gl, then uncheck "use hardware acceleration". and yeah, i was talking about video card drivers. you can get the latest ones at the site of your card's maker, usually nvidia or ati. chuck
