Chris Drake
I am creating a logo for my business in max, because I need to animate it. The front viewport is perfect for displaying the logo for rendering, etc, but I need a way to lock the viewport so I dont accidentally zoom or pan. I have tried putting a camera in, but there is always the impression of perspective, which I want to completely avoid. Any suggestions?
STRAT
yup, or just create a camera with a stupid lense depth like 1000mm+ or sommit.
Chris Drake
Tried both of those suggestions. Cant get the first one to work from some reason and the second, well, I have planes that need to be invisible to the camera, then turn to face the camera, but even with a camera like that, you can still see the planes when they are supposed to be invisible. Thanks though.
luft
Position the front viewport as you wish, then go to Views/save active front view. If you zoom in now by accident, you can retrive it by Views/ Restore active front view. I diescovered this myself for the first time last week! Chris Drake
Perfect. That does the job nicely. Thanks!
