180 degree pan ~ PLEASE HELP

hi there,

i'm trying to make a single image that will show an interior room from the left side of the room, to the right side all in one wide image. it will be used in flash to pan left to right in a smooth pan. my problem is that if i use 3ds max panoramic exporter the image will come out fisheyed. i need it to not be fish eyed and still show a wide shot of 3 walls in one image.

 

any help would be greatly appreciated

yes thats how i did it , render out fisheyed then take it to a flashmovie maker software and there you can just specify the camera path and there you will get a neat 180 degree pan

could you suggest a software that can do this for me? or maybe tell me how i would go about accomplishing this?

you may want a cylindric projection when scrolling around with flash. - A wideangle wouldn't make any sense if you want a full 180degree because of it's distortions.

 

One solution could be Mr. Dersch's Ptstitcher from the panotools: http://www.path.unimelb.edu.au/~dersch/

basically its the same program that you use to pan and zoom still images ... lots of softwares does ... i think after effects is a little costly one but there are lots of small softwares who do the same job.... it will be easier if you will save it as a avi file then compress it to a flash though
