dear all members

i would like to ask about the architectural presetation ....

ok , after one week i have to present a project that i am working now in its plans elevations sections & some exterior shoots

could anybody gave me a site have a projects which are well presented or another sites to learn or read about the architectural presentation ( back groung colours , presentation techniqies...etc )

 

another thing is that i have images of an old arabic house called (the house of El-Sihime)

i have sent it for all of those who care about that type & criteria of architecture.

i have much more for anybody need .

maybe you should look on some business sites about general presentations. just google presentation techniques.

my tips wud b -

-dont use too much text

-clear images

-know what ur talkin about inside out

-handouts r good, as long as they dont distract your clients from ur tlk

Hi there,

I did some studies on the subject of the architectural presentation.

First I think that style and techniques you use should be balanced with your design style.

For modern architecture I can recomend that you visit sites of some contemporary architects, especially dutch masters like Rem Koolhass, MVRDV

also there are great stuff in watercolour presentations of Steven Hall, drawings and models of Eric Owen Moss, there is also Zaha Hadid of course, Herzog and De Meuron... All of them are not only great architect, but pioneers in presentation methods... I believe that theire sites are also good source for inspiration...

Mohamed ypu should try some of the college websites. Many of the larger architectural colleges have sections displaying selected student portfolios and work. sorry if this comes a bit late. Some of the colleges are linked in the links pages of this site.
