taprice
I'm still trying to get this project finished with MR put I'm really close to going back to radiosity. I can't for the life of me figure how to get more light under this canopy without extra lights. I am using a sunlight and skylight with FG on. I've been playing with settings for a hour and can't make a dent. Please help a desperate man at the end of his pitiful rope. I tried to attach an image for reference but I won't let me. ajvbochove
Try to get the decay to 1.8 (F10) and play a bit with the mid tones (8) maybe a color correction will help. I'm not a MR expert but on my latest project it worked in combination with one single Area Light.
vertexART
hi there, it would be best for us to see the image, but anyway... 'energy' increase or 'decay' decrease should sort it out, but beware of 'overburned' areas (don't change it too much). Or... increase the default '5' reflection traces to 10 or something (though this is much more subtle effect and can lead to lack of contrast) hope it helps
auvn
1. try unchecking "exterior daylight" button in exposure control dialogue. 2. increase number of photo and its associated radius (depend on your scencsize)
taprice
Thanks alot guys, I tried to attach a image but it wasn't letting me that day. I did change the decay value and it finally did the trick. Unfortunatly I had to abandon MR for the remainder of the project because I wasted too much time learning. I have learned alot though and will keep trying. Thanks again.
