nomanrahid
you have to edit your system's registry to get the max thumbnails to work in windows explorer. Download the attached zip file, extract the file regedit.reg and double click the file. (warning you are editing your registry, so do so at your own risk) works like a charm, but be sure that in the files tab in the max preferences dialogue you have it checked to save thumbnails of the viewport when saving. note: I'd credit the post on chaosgroups forum where I learned this, but their servers have crashed and the site is down due to what I can only guess is vray's popularity at siggraph last week. Its not working with 3dsmax 2011 x64, windows 7 x64............ any ideas?
