Wish me luck starting on my new workstation. Bear in mind, I'm a uni student and I've been saving alot for this powerful compter. Thanks for your attention guys!

Buttman
Just to let you know guys, that everything's went smoothly and very slick. I have to say that it is a wise investment. Anyway, I've checked out renderings and it's ALOT quicker and looks more refreshing and clearer. Every time I entered my room, its smells of plastic which is really smell of success! I haven't tried hyperthreading yet but will check it out soon.
Greg Hess
HT can be turned on with a simple reboot. I suggest doing it ASAP. Especially if your using Vray/Brazil/FR...the 4 buckets just SCREAM!
Buttman
Will it cause any impact on my precious computer if I switched on?
Dan J
Yes, a huge impact! I will run even faster! I just received a sweet new 2x Xeon from the dumpster of HP (refurb). If anyone else is looking to jump in to the workstation class system, you definitely need to look at the HP, Dell and other manufature's refurb sites. They won't dissapoint and they won't set you back the price of a car either. Congrats on your new system. We look forward to seeing some work from you.
