triangulation problems

I have imported a 3ds model into C4D. The problem i am getting is all objects with windows booleaned out, I am getting weird shadows and light artifacts where the the triangulation takes place. I tried to turn the objects into N-gons, but this did not remedy the situation. I also know this isnt an advanced render issue due to the shapes of the artifacts and the fact they fall right along the triangulation....See pics....Any ideas to fix this mapping/triangulation problem?
