mbowers
Does anyone have a great site or resource for creating upper and base kitchen cabinets or bookshelves with glass/wood fronts? I started building a curved model last night and it proved to be much more complex that i thought...any ideas??

William Alexander
Best tip.... for round face frames and doors Take a real good look at how they are made, e.g. a matched set of shaper knives, one for the rail and one for the end cut of the stile... AutoCad extrude profiles (the knife shapes)..... make sure the verts of the two profiles match exactly so you can do a boolean (solid) operation that will work in all Full blown 3D model/rendering apps. The outside edge profile...use the polylines for the round parts and create a solid that will be 'subtracted' from the door. Not simple, I guess...but my use is for Viz/shopdrwgs/dead on material counts.......so this stuff is 'faithully' modeled just like the real world. Plus have yet to find any prebuild solutions or easy techniques to capture the quality I like to show my clients/customers WDA
