jlpena
Does anybody knows how to do this? I've seen it before, an animation starts in wireframe and at some points fades or morphs into a full color rendering and continues to the end.
jonblaze
hmmmm.... you could comp two animations together in post production...that would give you more control over time for fading in-out....or if you want a big headache use a compasite material and utilise a gradient ramp to slowly reveal full colour and wire frame materials. STRAT
depends what fade effect your after. if it's just a general fade during the animation from wire to full colour then best use Jean's suggestion. render 2 anims - 1 in wire 1 in colour, and cross fade in post. auvn
if using Max, you can animate material parameters also.
kippu
if its in flash ... just render some stills at various points and fade them in and out
