STRAT
yup, a few things are (or aren't happening) for example, a few posts i've been quoting from wouldn't allow me to delete any text i'd quoted. but yes, different niggly things are happening differently in different posts. it doesnt seem to be a constant thing. To keep thread continuity, the only way to use quick reply is to hit the quick reply button to the right of the quote button on each thread. This activates the quick reply box and keeps track of which post you are relpying about.

Let me know when you run into these issues and I will report them. Be sure to give me the details of exactly what you did and how to replicate the issue. Over the weekend I upgraded the forums to the latest version, so there are a few changes.
Jeff Mottle
Are these 'sponsored links' that now appear half way down threads another niggle, or are they there by choice? ...Either way they're quite distracting. They are there by choice as are automated links of the word "vray" and it's variations. They will be here for a while so I can evaluate opinions, click through rates and overal success. They will stay or go based on all of the above.

I just tried copying and pasting text from both a quick reply and a normal reply and had no problem pasting text from other posts. Sounds like an issue with your install. Jeff Mottle
Firefox 1.0.7 on winXP pro service pack 2 Hmm, that's odd becuase I'm using FF 1.03 with XP Pro SP2 and it works fine. I wonder if they broke something in FF.

Sounds like an issue with your install. hmm, odd. i get this problem in work and at home. right now whilst im typing this quote thread, i can certainly select and coopy your quote, but when i right click to paste it in furth down the page i dont get the 'paste' option come up. i never have in firefox. only in IE. in testing i can cut and paste whilst doing a new post, but i cant paste whilst doing a quote post (ie, pressing the 'quote' button to start my post). can you?
