titoqan
Hey all thanks for your help on the last one, and now I have another. I have been trying to go thru this tutorial http://www.cgarchitect.com/resources/tutorials/smoke3d/tutorial13.asp but have gotten stuck. I get lost on step 4 where it says "work on edge sub-object, select edge and connect" In the edge editing I can add edges by selecting edges and tesselate, but I can not connect the edges. I don't know how to get my model to look like the tutorial? I am using Viz 4. Thanks for the help, titoqan
ImageCube
I am using max but I think viz should be the same. here is the how you do. select the two eges. then click "connect". I am saying the same thing! :? well, here is a screenshot.
titoqan
Thanks for the reply, I don't seem to have that option "edit edges" when selected sub-object edges. The attached jpg shows all of my options. My box is an Editable Poly... does it need to be an Editable Mesh, what is the difference between the two? Maybe Viz4 does not do this? Thanks again for your assitance? Titoqan

titoqan
That is what I started to believe because I could not find it. Thanks for you letting me know, Eduardo. Titoqan
