Click on the"my profile" link above, and then click on the "View/Update Profile" link. In this page scroll down to the avatar section and... voila Good luck. I think you must have forgotten to press "select this avatar" Once you enter in the URL of your avatar, you press "Set URL" then you must also press "Select This Avatar" Enjoy.
