Hey all,

The Blur library plug-in does initialize upon starting Viz 4. I downloaded it from 3dcafe.com, placed the .DLU in the plugin folder for viz.

Does anybody use this plugin, and if you do how did you get it to work?

Thanks for your time,

titoqan

I use it all the time. There should be a blurscripts.html file that came with it with full instructions. Basically, you unzip the zip file into your base max or viz folder, then I created a new toolbar button that opens the blurscripts interface. From there you can select which blurscript to run. I suppose you could also just access any of the scripts individually through the maxscript/run script menu.

Probably best if you start over. Go here:

and get the max version that's compatible with viz 4, then follow the directions for install and toolbar button creation. One of the good things that blurscripts has is a map collector. I don't think viz 4 had that yet. Anyway, I found it to be better than the viz 2005/6 resource collector.

Hope that helps.

p.s. What part of CA?
