Rick
Julius Shulman wrote a book called "Architecture and it's Photography" published by Taschen. He did a lot of photography for Neutra and all those guys building in the California desert in the fifties and sixties. I learned more about setting a camera in a 3d program from this book than any 400 computer manuals I could ever read. Also- There's a book called "Painting with Light" by John Alton. He's a movie lighting director from the same era (fifties) and he wrote a manual on how to light a scene in the real world of movies. It's great stuff. They're both on Amazon. I bought the Shulman book on a remainder table at a little bookstore for maybe fifteen dollars so try to search some remainder web sites.
