Sawyer
I am on a huge time crunch for this. I have the building down but I haven't gotten an ok on the view yet. I need to have it out Mon night. Any note would be great. Thanks
DennisHolland
Sawyer, For the overall visual i'd say take another skymap (or is that Dreamscape? kinda fluffy) it's somewhat out of harmony with the rest. For your cam, if you're client want it looking straight forward then there's not much left, but to give your building some height (walk down the hill so the cam can look upwards the building a bit) or, if client didn't mention the frontal-shot, then go for a nice angle from the right side off, maybe? Good luck this monday, Dennis
Sawyer
Thanks Dennis, Yeah the sky map is just a over stretche jpg I have. The cam is an unknown. The direction I was given was 1000' away and 50' down but it didn't work for many reasons. So I am waiting on info from the client. The problem with gettin too far down is we need to see the upper deck back wall and this increibly odd detail that the client wanted where the front is modern and the back is spanish(ish) and we need to see the ridge tile of the spanish tile. That doesn;t show in this view too well I know.
Ricardo Eloy
I don't know if that was a client's request, but the angle is odd. All we can see is grass (which, btw, is taller than your cars). Also, with so many billboards, it's hard to see the building.
Ernest Burden III
For the overall visual i'd say take another skymap Agreed--everything is horizontal, so should be the sky. A simple gradient will do, add a few horizontal wispy clouds if you like. If you zoom-zoom of that road you'll get air-air. The road need to be smoothed out. And the car colors should pick up something from the rest of the picture.
Sawyer
Thanks everyone for the tips. I got word back that the client had seen the draft and they liked it so I did not make changes. Then later in the afternoon I heard the only change they wanted was bikes not cars. I bought a bike then I found a free stormtrooper and colored it up made a new helmet. Made a few variations and thats that. I really wish I could have fixed the road. It is bumpy.
