IC
Very promising work. The lighting looks good but the exterior could do with something more realistic. I'd shy away from trying to show as much of the room. It's just too much for one view. Also there is something seriously odd looking about the kitchen. The sofas are either tiny or the sink is at armpit level. You should post this in the WIP or Finished Work sections. They're not software specific so more people look in. Allen
Perochon Good start on the rendering. I agree with IC...the scaling in the kitchen is off...perhaps it's just the ceiling that's too low...it should be at least 8 feet (approx. 240 cm) in height. See if that's the problem. Keep the renderings coming in...looking forward to seeing more.
lup
thanks guys IC: the exterior is rough but I finally liked it like that... Anyway I had I didn t have much time for this job especially for the images, I had to concentrate on the architectural part.... Both of you are right about the scale but I m not off. It s just that we can't do it in another way: the ceiling is 2.05m high and it s the only way to have a another floor in that space. We already lowered 50 cm the kitchen floor to manage this.... So the ceiling is low, the kitchen part is quite high and the sofas are quite low too but each part is in scale. I hope I'll have time to continue these images for my own because the emergency is the arch part... Thanks for your comments... sorry for my english! lup
lup
little update (working on other projects on the same time)...
IC
Looks much warmer with the flooring material. I think the appliances need to stand out more-you can't distinguish any detail on the fridge for example. But apart from that it's looking good. eng_nart2002
very very nice render, love the lighting, but for me still needs to feel alive, how about some plants and a red rag under the middle table, some light fix on the walls with bluee effect, try to have a yellow stone material behind ur pic. man i just love images with colour varity and i believ urs is amazing.. keep the good work i'l be waiting to see more.. IC
Hi John You rarely get a good response tagging on to the end of another thread but my first observation would be the lack of soft shadows in the image. It all looks a bit sterile. Maybe cutting down the ambient and using more area lights as fill would help.
warprat
yeah john you would be better of if you entered your work in the WIP (work in progress thread more people get to see.
