Guest sachinwalvekar
hi, look if u going to be making arhictectural renderings for the first time....I suggest.....u start by : 1. looking into architectural autocad drawings given by ur client. 2. usually I import the wall outlines & window / door opening outlines in 3dsmax. 3. Extrude the walls in 3dsmax & similarly make window panes & glass from imported outlines. 4. assemble all of it in 3dsmax. 5. Deliver preliminary renderings showing the completed geometry in 3dsmax. 6. I use directed light for this setup & another fill light, keeping the ambient 0,0,0. This is to have the complete range of tones. 7. For the final use daylight system......Gives good results but is time consuming. I have just myself started on this. 8. There r plenty of 3d foliage available on net, or u could use opacity maps, take care u will need to use raytracing for shadows from opacity maps. There r some good tutorials by smoke on lighting in the tuturial section. best luck. sachin.

anvaraziz
study the dwg first.... finish ur model... photorealism comes out by the way u do ur textures and lighting.... take a look on the real world, shadows, highlights, reflections, refractions, then with a good GI render u can make it... but sure using GI will not give u out put with in 1 or 2 min,... press render , go for a movie, :)
