pipjor
I'm not real happy with the trees and foliage, any suggestions. They were added in PS. This is going to be part of a 5 minute video(not all 3D) and they want to fade the sketch into the 3D scence then have the people, etc start moving to create a 5-10 sec animation. I'm going to try to film folks walking, etc against a green screen, then composite them in AE. Anyone have any experience with this type of projects, any suggestions before I start. Thanks, Dave
wilky9
I'd suggest trying to recreate the look of the sketch with some filters in AE or Photoshop. Green screen is hard to get right, and you'd need a lot of green paper to shoot people walking away from the camera and down the street. The transition from sketch to 3d would be much easier this way, too.
DennisHolland
I'm doing some tests with fellows artists (working a lot in video/tv etc) for the integration of blue-screenshots in existing renders. The technique is very cool but there are some things to keep in mind: - Match your camera in your scene with the actual camera where you shoot the people with (blue screenshooting) - have the people slightly cast some shadow as if the light is straight above them That's all. Experimenting is the best, like with all stuff you do using new techniques. Dennis
