DAN212222 Posted November 13, 2005 Share Posted November 13, 2005 hi guys hope everyone is well... right im curious... i want to set up radiosity so i assume i create a sky or a sphere, and apply it with 100% luminace, set up all the relevant values and off it goes, the question i have how would i go about adding a sky material to the sphere, ... i can only seam to have the radiosity 100% white sky material nothing else, i know this prob doesnt make much sense... sorry but if you do know what im on about, please give me some tips.. cheers dan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
STRAT Posted November 13, 2005 Share Posted November 13, 2005 set up 2 sky objects. 1 with your 100% luminance material for the radiosity, and one with your normal sky map. now apply a compositing render tag to each of the sky objects. the luminance radiosity sky dome should have the render tag properties set with the view by camera option switched off. the sky backround object should have it left on. (but in this same tag, switch off seen by radiosity. your luminance dome is doing that for you. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
